MindTouch Outlook Connector

MindTouch Outlook Connector for Microsoft Outlook™ provides one-click publishing of your emails and email file attachments to MindTouch Deki where email correspondence can be versioned, searched and shared. This easy to install plugin will dramatically improve your efficiency by bridging your email inbox and MindTouch Deki. 

The Outlook Connector is built on the robust REST-based API of MindTouch Deki. This tool is free and open source. This Connector is compatible with the MindTouch shared and managed hosting services.

This is an alpha release.  Here are the known issues that the Connector fails on:

• Emails with over 255 char subjects
• Emails that contain Asian chars
• Microsoft Word Objects currently aren't supported, i.e.- Microsoft Word Art in emails

If you encounter other emails that fail please send the emails as an attachment to  bugs@MindTouch.com.

Intructions for Installing and Using the Connector

1. Download the Outlook Connector
2. Double Click the file once downloaded and run through the installer
3. Once installed restart Outlook and you'll see a new icon 
   
4. Now click the drop down arrow and select Settings
   
5. Then you will select Add and enter in the info about your wiki like the following:
   
6. Now select ok and then select and email in your inbox that you would like to publish to the wiki
7. Once selected click the Publish button and the email and its attachments will be posted to your wiki like the following:
